The Morning

The sun rises

I raise my sleepy head

Six A.M.

Once again I get out of bed

I walk to the door

I walk some more

I make my breakfast

I eat my toaster treat

I put shoes on my feet

I don't make a fuss

to catch the bus

My morning will repeat again

The above poem was written by my then 9 year old grand-daughter.

Do you have mornings that will repeat again and again? Do we face the day without a fuss in the morning? I must admit that in my younger years, I was never a "morning person." As you age, things change. Now I wake with an anticipation for the opportunity to maybe make a difference in someones life!

Something as simple as a friendly smile can spice up a lonely person's day. A friendly smile can put out a message that someone cares about them.

What a blessing when the smile is returned and you see the little twinkle in their eyes and you just know that God's love touched their life today.

What we put out returns to us ten times over.

Come on, spice up someones life today!
